Function Description:
This is an LED follow-spot DIY kit for gaming. It enables LED movement along X, Y, and XY axes, with directional control via buttons. Adjustable LED speed produces diverse flashing effects. Eighty-one high-brightness red indicators simulate LED game tracking effects.
Product Specifications:
Supply Voltage: DC 4.5-9V (DC power supply)
PCB Dimensions: 71 × 93.5 mm
Circuit Principle: U1 and its peripheral components form an oscillator circuit. The output from pin 3 of the NE555 is fed to the CD4017 counter-decoder. High-level outputs from Q0 to Q8 drive transistors Q1 to Q9 to conduct, illuminating the X-axis LEDs. Similarly, U3 and U4 drive transistors Q10-Q18 to conduct sequentially, illuminating the Y-axis LEDs. Switch S2 alters the oscillation capacitance connected to U1, while VR1 adjusts the X-axis oscillation frequency. Switch S3 modifies the oscillation capacitance for U3, and VR2 regulates the Y-axis oscillation frequency. Switch S4 enables the Y-axis to increment by one count upon completion of the X-axis cycle, achieving a sequential, rolling illumination effect. Switch S1 serves as the power supply switch. Power may be input via the J1 socket or the BAT auxiliary input port, with a DC voltage range of 4.5-9V.
Important Notes: All light-emitting diodes, electrolytic capacitors, transistors, integrated circuits, and power ports are polarised. Ensure correct orientation during assembly. All components must be surface-mounted.
