FAQs
Q: The LED turns off while charging
A: This charger has a build-in thermal protection function. Battery charging is shut off when the charger temperature increases beyond set limit, and LED turns off (no color). Once the charger temperature drops to acceptable limit, the charging will be resumed and LED turns on: charging in red, fully charged in green.
Q: LED color can changes to be in Yellow
A: For chargers with MCU control inside, LED indicating sets 4 color's change: charging in red, 80% charging in yellow, fully charged in green, flash red under abnormal situation, or wrong DC connector connection, or for bad battery to charge, etc.
Q: How soon can I get samples for test to check quality?
A: The lead time for our standard products is 3-5 days. For customized products need 2-3 weeks or longer.

Q: How to select charging current not to hurt batteries?
A: It is up to charge what type of battery?
To charge Lead Acid battery, normally set charging current = 0.2C of battery capacity
To charge Lithium, LifePO4 batteries, and need to check battery spec that can withstand the max charging current. Normally it can permit higher current to charge at 0.5-2C.
To charge Ni-Mh batteries, the charger has MCU control to make sure safe charging, and normally to charge with little current at less than 0.2C.
